Member Highlight: Ted Moore

Ted Moore’s Rotary story began the way many of the best stories do — with friendship.

Ted joined Auburn Gold Country Rotary because his friend, Eric Hill, was a member. That says so much about who we are as a club. So often, it really is about friends asking friends to come be part of something good, something meaningful, and something that reaches beyond ourselves.

Ted continues to stay active because of the fun, the friendships, and the opportunity to belong to the great worldwide family of Rotary International. But what gives it even deeper meaning for him is the chance to volunteer right here in the Auburn community. Serving others, lending a hand, and being part of work that makes life a little better for those around us is what makes Rotary matter.

Ted’s membership is a wonderful reminder that Rotary is not just about meetings or events. It is about connection, purpose, and community. We are grateful for Ted, for his generous spirit, and for the quiet, steady way he helps make Auburn Gold Country Rotary the special club that it is.
